#MarvelZombies Fan Film

And super heroes
Come to feast
To taste the flesh
Not yet deceased

-Rocky Horror Picture Show-

When I was first asked if I wanted to photograph a Marvel Zombies fan film, I had no clue what I was getting myself into. I'd been a part of 24 hour film festivals before, so I knew how hectic shooting a film in one weekend could be. What I didn't know is how much fun it would be to run around photographing strangers in spandex with fake blood running down their faces.

Director Adam Bartholomew dreamed of syncing up a film version of the 2005 Marvel Zombies comic book series with the song "Super Heroes" from the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack. It was amazing to be in on the process of storyboarding, casting, wardrobe, marketing meetings and seeing the final product. Everyone on the team was so talented and dedicated to making this fan film the best it could be. I stayed up for 34 hours straight, building and photographing in a hotel studio overnight, running around a park from dark fog to bright daylight and holing ourselves up in a black-box studio to photograph Dr. Strange.
